Chat

Would it be a good idea to try to organise a time for us all to chat in the chatroom? Miranda is 5 hours behind the UK and 6 behind Europe (I think ). So when might be a good time for eveyone? I don't even know if the chatbox function works as I've not tried it.

Any weekday between 9:00 AM and 10:00 AM, my time here, would work for me. On weekends, anytime between 7:00 AM and 10:00 AM. These are the times when I'm usually guaranteed pricacy to chat, but I would definitely try to be here for anyone if there is a particular time that works better. I surely hope we can get the chat room working! Jean, my time would be in the afternoons for you but if mornings work better for you, please let me know, my friend. Thinking of Marty in the middle of the night, who can sleep anyway, haha!

Not sure if I'm the only one but so many times, I'll awake in the middle of the night and can not sleep, only to come to the computer looking for Martin.

Weekdays between 9 and 10 AM would be 2 and 3 PM UK time which would work for me on a Tuesday or a Friday as I don't work those days. Weekends between 7 and 10 AM would be 12 and 3 PM UK time which might be better for those in Europe. How would these times fit in with you Ibel and Mapi?

I haven't tried the chatbox function so it might be a good idea to try it out. If I make certain that I am online at 2 PM my time (9 AM your time) on Saturday we can maybe give it a try and see how it works out.

I just checked out the chat room and, my friend, we have a chat room, LoL! I tried it a few days ago and could not get it to work. When I tried just now, it worked. I was the only one *in* there, but it worked beautifully!

I forgot to say that Fridays are usually out for me because I run errends that day, but Tuesdays between 9:00 AM and 10:00 AM here, 2:00 PM and 3:00 PM for you, would work very well for me. But like I said, if there is a better time for you, we could do that as well. I'm really looking forward to this! Hopefully, Ibel and Mapi will be able to join us, too. In any case, we'll save a seat for them.

I will probably be on the computer tomorrow morning (Saturday 1-6) between 7:00 AM and 10:00 AM, so if you're able to be here then, just let me know. I was thinking, when I am online, I can open the chat and leave my name there for as long as I'm able to. That way, if you should happen to check the forum in the afternoons, you'll see me there. If I'm surfing and don't respond right away, just send me an e-mail, my friend, and I'll rush to the room! I'm was so happy to see that the chat room actually works.

I've made a note in my diary for Tuesday (I have to note things down these days otherwise I'll forget - old age setting in ). But I will most certainly be online tomorrow at sometime during the times you mention, so I will see you then!

Hey, my friend, I was just in the chat room, and I discovered the other day, if you hit the "Archives" feature, it gives you the past dialogue in the box so we can see when the other was there. Right now, I need to leave the computer for a bit, but I *hope* to be back very shortly! I'll keep checking the chat room.

Holly, you just missed us this morning! We would have loved to have had you join us. Jean, who created this beautiful site, and I often chat on Sunday mornings at 9:00 AM EST until whenever, and also when we are both available Tuesday mornings at 9:00 AM. Cinnamonnut also has joins us when she is available on Sunday mornings. If you would like to chat at either of those times, please let either Jean or I know and we will definitely try to be here! Or just drop in if you ever see us in the chat room during those times, or anytime.
