Scar

Martin has a visible scar on his left hand, from thumb to almost middle finger. He also has a small scar on his forehead. I can't take the credit for being so observant, that honour goes to Miranda.

Incredible photos, my friend! The capture of the scar on his hand is excellent. Wow. (I often wonder if that scar is a mark of the Dragons.) I don't think I've ever seen the time on his watch so percectly, either. 9:55, haha! I find I'm always trying to see the time on his watch when it's in a photo. And this would be a good time to say how much I love his gold watch band! I actually picked my most recent watch because the band is very similar to his and it's very comfortable. Although it's not 24 carat gold like his must be.

I hope you don't think I'm over the top in my observance but I absolutely love the way he often extends his pinky finger at times. I just find it incredibly adorable. (I first noticed it in Ring Around the Moon, 44:10.)

The fact is I enjoy freeze-framing Martin, and, like you I enjoy looking out for all the little quirky moments and mannerisms. I must look out for the extended pinky in Ring Around the Moon. I've just noticed that he actually has a long pinky finger, hasn't he?

LoL, yes he does indeed. His fingers are very elongated and his pinky is not to be outdone! Jan pointed this out to me once and I'd never even consciously noticed how long his pinky is in relation to his other fingers, and now you also noticed it. I love these observations, haha! What I have noticed though, as I mentioned, is the way he often extends his pinky beyond his other fingers on various occasions. I first noticed it in Ring Around the Moon, but he does this so many times and I find it absolutely adorable for some reason. I also love that little twitch he does with the lower left corner of his mouth sometimes when he is very angry or intense. His mouth is open a bit when he does this and he probably has no idea he does this at the time. I first noticed it in the Mission episode The Carriers when they were caught outside of the lab. I have to watch it again to be sure. I've also noticed it in S99. And wow, when he's very intense at one point in the Outer Limits episode The Bellero Shield, I love it, LoL!

I have often wondered the same thing. He seems to have gone through a few bumps and scrapes in life. Perhaps from his teenage Dragon "club" days? The poor dear! I wish we could know more about his young life. He seems to have led a very full and interesting one.

I totally agree with Blondie, Jean's capture here is great. She is wonderful in her talent of doing that!
