Snow!

Here in Jersey our winters are fairly mild, normally! However, this New Year has seen quite a bit of snow for us. If it wasn't so cold, I'd build a snowman but I'm afraid I'm too much of a coward when it comes to the cold !

We must be thankful though as most of England has seen very severe weather and arctic temperatures. Lowest recorded temperature was minus 22 C in a village in Scotland, colder than the South Pole!!! That is cold!

Admin, c'mon, build a snowman! Put on a warm coat, snow boots, a nice scarf, (borrow one of Martin's!) and build Frosty, LoL!

Hey, great idea. Can you imagine the four of us together in the snow? (Ibel, where are you, my friend!) We could make a snowman of one of Martin's characters. Hmm... the possibilities!

Miranda, it would be wonderful if we could use a little bit of Star Trek transporter technology, or Doctor Logan's technology to beam us all to one place where we could spend endless hours looking at Space 1999 dvds and discussing Martin. Now wouldn't that be amazing.

More snow forecast later today but turning to rain so it looks like they won't close the schools tomorrow. The schools returned after the Christmas break last Wednesday but it snowed and conditions were very icy so they closed the schools on Wednesday and Thursday, and I don't work on Fridays so I had an extra long holiday.
