Cosmic Siren Pt 2

John visits Victor in the lab..Victor is going over charts ,data and checking the computer from Alan's eagle..Victor looks at the last data checking against the last data sheet..Well Victor began the only difference in the 2 charts..that the electical particals we found out about..had increase from the time Alan went out in the mist and when he returned from it..John looks at Victor and respond Why??
Victor sighs :don't really know, maybe it was just the eagle instrument bouncing off the mist..maybe having the eagle in the mist caused a disturbance....now that we are clear of the mist we will never know..John then ask: Alan didn't respond for 10 minutes his heart and brain waves had increased......Puzzled Victor couldn't shed any light on that..perhaps Victor says scratching his head he was having a dream..a very vivid dream John pace rubbing his neck then stretching it to get a more clear head
John replies: and that he can't seem to remember what it was ...I am glad it's gone..
The near by monitor beeped, John goes over and clicked a button Koenig he replied ..Helena face pops on..John replies: Yes Helena
Helena: I finish examining Alan (John notice a slight concern on her face)
John : found something?
Helena:I don't know
John: Be right there ..as he looks at Victor and replied Maybe that fog wasn't as harmless after all as they both leave through the door..the floating vapor was near by un seen by John and Victor
John and Victor is in Medical
John :you found something??
Helena:Am not exactly sure- according to my findings Alan is completely healthy
John :But?
Helena: I found that on the way back to Alpha Alan temperture droppedfor 5 minutes, then his body temperture return to normal
John :you're said his heart beat was racing and his brain wave were very active
Helena: Yes that's when his temperture dropped
John : on his way back to Alpha..Helena ADDS in those minutes he didn't respond to us..I can't explain it, there is no reason for it..
Alan broke the tension he came from in back of the screen he just finish dressing and ask Am I free to go??
Helena: Yes Physically your are okay- But I want you to get some rest for at least 24 hours
Alan: disappointed repies Oh! come on Doc...Commander (asking with his gesture for a little intervention) John pats him on the back and replied You heard the good Doctor..24 hours ..Go!!!
Alan look back at Helena..she replies ...Rest..
Alan then smiles:I guess I can catch up with that dream I had.. (he turns to the commander)I did remember something about it commander
John ears peeked: what?
Alan: I remember hearing music...beautiful music..This time am gonna remember everything
he smiles and leaves.. John walked away from Victor and Helena ..he to thought he heard music earliar...he was so deep in thought he didn't hear Helena call his name..John turns and ask : How is he really?
Helena responded : A little rest will do him a lot of good,,,(noticing John yawning again)
Helena comes over and replies : I can say the same about you
John relents: Okay Okay ..I will check in ..in 6 hours Keep me informed If anything changes...
Victor : will do John..Good Night
Helena : We are checking everyone vital signs..their is a slight increase of normal activity in some of the men..the woman seems find...
John: yawns again. All you find on me is a peaceful night slumber

John replies:good night...John turns and leaves..leaving Victor and Helena looking at each other
John walks to his quarters took off his com link and push the button to open his quarters door then used it again to close it behind him as he layed it on his desk
Later John just picked at his food..not really interested in eating it anyway..he gets up..and go to his bedroom bathroom ..showered came out in the traditional blue Pajamas..he goes to his bed and gets in...he grabs the novel from his night stand and tries to read it ,but after trying to focus to read the words in the next chapter prove to very difficult his eye lids were getting very heavy he could hardly keep them open soon his eyes were so blurry he couldn't begin to make out what the words were..maybe he thought he was just too darn tired he thought Helena and Victor are right ... to exhausted to read his favorite novel he read over and over before...Moby Dick can't get enough of Captain a-hem ,But tonight it will have to wait...he mumbled ..he place the book back on the desk turned off the light and before he was settled down he was out like a light..sleep came fast to the commander before long he was in a deep restless sleep

Out of the vent comes the mysterious vapor..it floated over to John's bed the covers thein blue sheet that covered John slid off his body on to the floor...as the vapor now grew larger it seem to match the commander's body length..and it lowered it self on the commander..John head moved from side to side..he seemed cold and was trembling his breathing was more labored ,became more rapid in nature ...as he kept moving restlessly from side to side under the vapors thst seem to hold him...then in John's mind he could hear a hauntedly ,but beautiful music like a angel singing ., but he can't make out the words it seems to be saying his name......and it felt as if it was beacaning to him somehow..it the music seemed to clam him..John body slowly relaxed his breathing more calmer .....then John's eyes popped opened.. the entity then moved away off John....John sat right up not saying a word and got up and walked to the waiting mist and stopped...John staring without blinking then ,before his eyes the mist began to transform..slowly appeared from the haze was a beautiful woman that Alan seen in the eagle..her form floated down as her whole body was now visible..her gown almost translucent white flowing behind her .....her blond hair slightly blowing in back of her ,but no wind was blowing to cause it..her lips red as rubies..her eyes seemed white like her gown.. her skin pale but glittered like shimmering moon light on calm water..she takes her hand and touched John's chest..releasing him to speak..But John still feels as if he was floating , like he was in a dream..yes that's it he's dreaming , but for what ever he didn't want to wake up just yet..he finally focus and manage to speak ,but he wasn't moving his lips: Who are you?
What are you?
Woman tempest talked to John with out moving her lips either: I've been alive for 1000's of your earth's years. I've been floating in space for about the same time until one of your crew came to greet me..He is very handsome and strong...., my name is anything you want it to be commander ,but for now you can call me. Serena... I do go by other names ....some call me a siren John continue to speaks with his mind he find doing this was amazing... he responded as he began In folklore and myths..It was a beautiful woman who lures fishermen to their watery grave..when they heard her music and made then crash their ships purposely into the rocks calling for them to make sacrifaces..the woman smiles and replies ..and so the story been told....I don't live in the sea commander. John counters :you lived in the fog we pass it was made of water... are there more like you in the mist???...I am one of a kind the last of my species, but your right. I am like this siren I do feed off stronger men auras (John curious) why only the men? Serena replies touching John's face, because that is what our species craves the females are weak and they don't taste very well... . But I came here for a different reason...I am lonely and it's time for me to spawn for that... I need a suitable mate to be my husband .....and I found him......you commander... I pick you....a flash of horror cross John's eyes ....... How do you know we are compatable?
The woman coos..you have very strong will.. your life force is incredible we will be a perfect match....I've been searching for soooo long to find the perfect male and now my search has ended ..the hauntedly music begins to play again calming John's fears..The siren whispered: don't be afraid...
John manages to open his mouth..Nooo!!noooo, but John seem hauntedly drawn to the woman..dispite feeling certain doom ...he seems his lips are being drawn towards hers ....closer and closer and it seems John feels like he's floating a out of body ...no will of his own, her scent engulfed him .. as .John lips brushed by the siren lips Just as he was about to kiss her .. the seductress ..arched her head up exposing a large pulsating vein in her neck..John tries to pull away ......as head kept going forward..close closer...as the woman seductively pleads ...Drink commander drink.......John struggles for what seemed forever till his lips press against her neck and he lifted his head one more time and he uses every strengh he had left and pulled away .. breathing hard The Siren replies: strong willed...you have a lot of fight in you commander ..I admire that..to bad is all for naught..you have been chosen and sooner or later..you will no longer be able to resist me ..Serena moves towards John who still a little unsteady on his feet as He backs away till he hit his dinner table remembering there was A knife near the plate he picked it up as if he was using the table to keep him standing up right making sure not to alert the Siren on what he was doing.... with the knife in his hand hidden in back of him..he was ready..the Siren purrs..We can do so much together ..travel the galaxy explore new worlds ...We have can do much together....John getting his bareings he only has one shot , since all his strength is almost zapped..the Siren slowly walks towards John , then she stops, John nervously wonders does she know he has a knife..the Siren calls sofely to John to come to her ...Come to me John she pleads to me as if his legs had a will of their own John started to walk towards her, then John realizes He is walking towards her like a moth to a flame..he had to go to her, but he still fighing as struggled painfully toward her till he was standing in front of her trembling ......together we can do the most wonderess things together she reaches for his face and touch John's face with soft whispered finger tips and she pulled his face in and kisses John and for some reason he couldn't help but kiss her back..John thinking can he do this ,,he has too John pulls his face away....Siren smiled blood trickled from her lips, it was John's blood she bit his lip..John lips begain to bleed..The Siren rolled back her head back as her tongue explored what was left of John's blood in her mouth with delight ..You taste wonderful she said seductively..Not to night Baby I have a headache with that he took the knife and pludged it into her stomach.... the now angry Siren shows her true face..mouth in a grimace distorted way her eyes red with fire and fangs show beyond her howling lips as she grabs John by the neck and hurled him against the wall with one hand..John crashed into the shelf and landed hard on the floor John is unable to get up...he turns breathing hard..looks at Serena....who howls (do you think you can kill me) to John astonishment the Siren slowly pulls out the knife she showed no blood..John knew he was in trouble and tries to crawl toward his laser and the Siren jumps on his back so quickly in one swoop..the angry siren cracked..I see you haven't ate your dinner...it is time to clean your plate..as she grabed Johns hair and hit his head hard on the floor almost knocking him out then the Siren took the knife and slowly cut her wraist as she watch what look like black oil coming from it and she takes the near unconcious Koenig by the hair time to take you medicine as she flip him over and was quickly on top of him..her body like a eel she grabs his jaw and pulled down his lower jaw and then she held his mouth open John struggles He grabs her arm that was hold his mouth, but he could not buldge it as the blood starts to drop in Johns mouth.. the Siren let go of johns mouth But he spits her blood back at her...Siren cracks :why do you resist me you will not win....she hit him hard near his trach John mouth open in gasps for air and again the Siren drips her blood into john's mouth ,but this time she grabbed his mouth and close it shut ..through the pain trying to breathe and trying not to swallow was getting more difficult ..he begins to choke..and he finally swallows..the liquid burns as it went down..and the Siren let him go You see she cracks that wasn't so bad was it??? she bends her head all the way to John and A long tongue came out of her mouth and she licked the side of John's face then she lends back and Laughs she then gets up leaving John gasping and coughing as he rolled over on his hands and knees he felt like he wanted to vomit...but nothing came out, he slowly with help from holding to the furniture he finally made it to his feet..only to stumble and almost fall again.....It does take alot getting use to..at the beginning..but you finally will..they always do. John still gasping replies :So there were more ,what happen to them Serena replied : I got hungry ......John beginning to feel the effects of the Sirens blood..as he tries to fight the urge..trying to keep strong..as pain began to take hold John yells in agony
Back in Medical Dr Mathias runs out where Victor and Helena were talking Helena something wrong with the commanders reading his vitals are off the scale ..he in trouble....Helena looks at the monitor his blood pressure high his vital signs are off the chart and his brian activity....I never seen it like this before....she push a button Medical creww to Commander Koenig quarters code 1...Victor push another Buttomn Paul looked up Victor ..meet us at the commander quarters immediately...Paul replies something wrong???Victor had no time to explain meet me at his quarters..Helena grab her medical kit and both goes through the medical doors in a hurry..In John's quarters Johnis crawling on his hands and knees...trying to fight off what is trying to take hold of him...John pushes out his words through the pain..WHHHATTT DID YOUUU DO TO MEEEEEEE he gags again and finally to weak fars fall onto his face...the Siren seems remorseful. John couldn't move..he was helpless shaking..the Siren walks over to him the more you fight the more pain you will be in...John yells NEVERRRRRRRR..arggghhhhh I never give in never.....John manage to sit against the wall breathing hard strengh gone ..he seemed out of it..The Siren kneels down to Koenig..you see commander..everything is going to be okay now ..you'll see as she touched him on the forehead John turns his head away..at his door he can hear a familiar voice..It was Victor..John tries to yell his name but all he could manage to do was whisper weakly Viccctor...Siren remarked They can't help you..you are marked ..you are mine.. Meanwhile on the other side of the door .... Victor tells Paul to shoot the panel to unlock the over ride..Paul takes out his laser and replied to the others to Stand back Helena and her team and Victor and the guard moved back ...Paul shoots the panel..the door didn't open Paul Yells to help me with the door as the men including Victor try to push the door open....inside John seemed over taken... the Siren reached out her hand John looks up and takes it and the Siren helped him up....We are now one ..and no one can ever break our bond...I have to go now she began to move away.......soon my love soon she murmured ..John didn't want her to go replied ...No wait....don't go... as the door to his quarters opened up ....Paul got in ..John turns to see Paul then Victor John trys to step forward Vic..torr hel..p me.... with that he collapses ..Victor Yells :John!!!!! ..Paul happen to look up and sees the mist ..Professor paul yells .... as Paul takes his laser and shoots ,but the vapor diappeared into the vent ...Paul can't believe what he just saw or thought he saw replied (did you see that?? Victor did see it then replied with urgency ..... go to RED ALERT and Paul close all the vents lets try to keep what ever that is in the ducts till we figure out what were dealing with ..Paul responded :right professor..he goes to the monitor to order Code red ...Victor goes over to Helena ..and ask How is he????...Helena did her primary scanning... I won't no more till I get him to Medical....as they stared down worried .at a unconcious John Cont.Pt3

I'm really worried about John, my goodness! Poor guy. I want to see him get through this and be okay, so keep posting! And thanks for sharing your story with us here, johneyecandy. It's always nice to see when John gets top billing in a S99 story.

I guess it's safe enough for me to say here that, for me, Martin was the best thing in S99 by far. If not for him, I would have watched the series again when it was released on DVD, but that would have been the end of it for me. Because of Martin's wonderful performance however, and contributions to the show, because of the way he brought such integrity to the character of John Koenig as only he could, I'm now a dedicated S99 fan all over again after 35 years. For all that Martin gave of himself for S99, from many sleepless nights to help in weekly behind-the-scenes preparations, to his consistantly flawless on-screen performances, I wish he'd get full recognition for his work in the show. All in all, I think he's currently being slighted, and very unfairly. As both a fan of Martin's and also a long-time fan of the show itself, I have to say that this is very sad to see happening. Unlike many actors who's careers have failed, slowed down or simply retired because of age or a growing lackluster interest in acting, Martin is still going strong, acting and teaching his craft. I too wish he could hold our hands at conventions and reminisce like some of the other actors have done, but I'd much rather be entertained by seeing what Martin does next in his amazing career. I think there are a few people who judge him unfairly and, quite obviously, it's very one-sided. I guess great success always spawns some jealousy however, along with those who are misguided by viewpoints from only one side. This being said, I imagine it would be a nightmare for a few people if Martin would actually have time for fandom.

Anyway, I digress and find myself a bit off-topic, even at a website dedicated to my favorite actor. But to quote a disgruntled S99 artist himself, I'm getting too old to pull any punches. Johneyecandy, please keep telling us your stories about John Koenig. It's nice to see that Martin, and a character he portrayed so beautifully, has dedicated fans out there in the world of Space: 1999.

I am soo touched by everyone who love the stories....I am so glad I found a wonderful place to post it.....Oh I love me some martin Landau when I was just a tween he was such a dreamboat as John Koenig...Just imagine to my horror to learn when 1999 was being born they wanted Robert Culp to be the commander of moonbase Alpha.... I am so glad they didn't go with their first choice ...nothing against Culp...but he is not the commander type.... Martin Landau was the only person to Fill that role ...so sad they the PTB didn't give it one last try for a 3rd season......that's why I've been writing these stories trying to give his fans the season 3 they never gotten...Again thanks for the kind words..I have the whole story..Just need a little time to put it in..you will not be disappointed I assure you..try to get Pt 3 up by the end of the week rough day at work and I am tooo pooped...
